With four kids, it's not very often we get one on one time with our children together. Thanks to Grandma Matsumori watching our 3 younger kids, we took Michelle for an overnighter to Salt Lake City for her 8th Birthday. We visited Temple Square and bought Michelle's first set of scriptures. We enjoyed dinner at California Pizza Kitchen and swimming at the pool in the hotel. But mostly, we just enjoyed being together. It was a fun night. Hard to believe it was just Michelle and us when she was born 8 years ago. I remember having mixed feelings when Brooke was about to be born because I knew our relationship with Michelle would change. Our love for her hasn't diminished! It's amazing how we feel the same way about all of our children.
