Pear Picking?

Although we now live in Arizona, we didn't want to break our apple picking tradition. With the help of our Arizona friends, the Kartchner's, we found Apple Annies Orchards (only 90 minutes from Tucson). Upon arrival, we discovered Apple Annies no longer had any apples to pick. Due to an early frost, the apple orchards were barren.

Thankfully, we were able to pick some Asian pears instead. Only problem is we didn't know which pears were good to pick--some are crunchy!
